Signed Limited Edition Print 11/100 – Jaguar XK Front on Blue – Framed – 50 × 33 cm

The front of a 1950s British sports car — a Jaguar XK — reduced to its essentials against a deep electric blue ground: the fluted grille with its enamel badge, paired headlamps and driving lamps, small round side lights, wing mirrors on stalks, and the bare outline of the wings and aero screen. Everything else is left to the blue.

Hand-signed in the lower right and numbered 11/100 in the lower left. Framed behind glass in black.

We also have the companion print from the same series — a 1950s sports racing car in profile, numbered 7/100, same size, same frame, same blue. The two were clearly made to hang together, one front-on and one in profile. We are happy to sell them as a pair; ask and we will quote for both.

How we arrived at the price

We would rather show our working than ask you to take a number on trust.

• Against the price: we cannot read the signature, so the artist is unknown to us and there is no market record to anchor against. It is a print from an edition of one hundred, not an original work.
• Market evidence: artist-signed limited edition automotive prints in editions of 250 are traded by specialist dealers at around EUR 34 unframed. A hand-signed print by a named artist in an edition of 300 sits at around GBP 40. At the upper end, a framed signed automotive print by an established name is offered at around USD 295.
• For the price: the edition of 100 is smaller than the common 250-run decorative editions, it is hand-signed and hand-numbered, and it comes framed and glazed, ready to hang.

On that basis we have priced it at AED 650. If you can read the signature or recognise the edition, tell us — we will reprice openly and say so in the listing.

Condition

Used. Print clean, colour strong and even. Frame shows light handling marks and rubbing to the edges. Photographed through the glass, so reflections and dust in the images are on the glazing, not the print. Further photographs on request.

Viewing and delivery

Available to view by appointment at our warehouse. Delivered by hand within the UAE. Glazed frames of this size are awkward and expensive to ship internationally — ask and we will quote, or supply it unframed if you prefer.
