A large sculptural face built from continuous painted lines — the profile drawn in space rather than modelled solid, with zebra stripes, polka dots, blocks of green, purple and red, and polished gilt highlights. Signed Dorit Levinstein and dated 2018 along the lower edge, over a field of hand-drawn stars.

Condition — please read

Used, and not perfect. There are chips and paint losses to the pink lip element, clearly visible in the close-up photograph, along with light surface marks and dust in the recesses elsewhere. The structure is sound and the piece stands correctly. Everything is photographed as it is, unretouched and unedited — the close-up of the damage is included deliberately so you can judge it yourself. Restoration by a specialist is possible but has not been carried out.

Authenticity

Offered exactly as it came to us: signed and dated, without a certificate of authenticity, edition number documentation or gallery paperwork. We make no claim beyond what is inscribed on the piece and visible in the photographs. At this level we expect and encourage buyers to arrange their own examination — we will hold the work and provide any additional photographs, measurements or access to an appraiser you appoint.

Available to view by appointment at our warehouse. Delivered by hand within the UAE. Shipped worldwide, crated and insured; duties and import VAT are payable by the buyer in the destination country. Many countries apply a reduced import VAT rate to original works of art.
